ATTU “Aim for the Stars” offers a variety of support according to the needs of the National Associations.

Three National Associations, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and UAE all asked for support to attend ITTF events in the last months of 2019 to provide greater exposure for their players.

Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia attended Oman ITTF Premium Junior Circuit 24-28 October with 4 boys, together with Al-Fateh Club Coach I-Orif and Saudi Arabia Team Manager Emad Al-Nami who said “The event was great for us as it is close, with excellent organization, hospitality, and competition”

Their best result was from Khaled Alshareif who won his Cadet singles group defeating players from Sweden, Sri Lanka and Oman all 3-0, then proceeding to the quarter-finals defeating players from Sri Lanka and Singapore on the way. He is currently ranked No 32 of the ITTF Cadet World Rankings and won his first ITTF Cadet title in Egypt earlier this year

Iran attended both the ITTF Challenge Belarus Open 30 October to 3 November with 2 male players, 2 female players and 1 coach and ITTF Platinum Austria Open 12-17 November with 2 male players and 1 coach.

Best results came from Seyed Amirhossein Hodaei with quarter-final of the Men’s Under 21 singles, while also placing second in his Men’s Open group at the Belarus Open.
