ATTU “Aim for the Stars” Atoll Development Program in Maldives


Asia Table Tennis Union “Aim for the Stars” Project provides one regional activity and one national project per year.


Maldives already participated in the ATTU “Aim for the Stars” South Asia Regional Training Camp in India 3-24November and have now just received their National Project support, being equipment for their “Atoll Development Program” including 11 tables,11 nets, 11scorers, 110 rackets, and 1100 balls. Stag has been very generous in providing the equipment at very good prices allowing ATTU to provide more equipment.




The equipment will be distributed to 11 different atolls, each receiving 1 outdoor table and net, 1 scorer, 10 rackets, and 100 balls that have coaches that have been trained in previous projects.


Ali Rasheed, Table Tennis Association of Maldives[TTAM] President said: “Thank you very much for ATTU starting the “Aim for the Stars” Program for each region. This will surely help our youth in achieving higher goals and developing the sport in the country. Special thanks to ATTU Projects Director Mr Glenn. We look forward receiving more of such opportunities and thank you very much for your continued support at all times”
