From 27th March to 4th April 2021, ATTU and Indonesian Table Tennis Association (PP PTMSI) were hosting the Aim for the Stars Training Camp. The event, held in Jakarta, attracted 68 young Indonesian athletes lead by Indonesian's Junior Coaches team.

Located in GBK Arena Jakarta, the camp was organized in 2 separate floor, with total of 12 tables in use. We imposed a very strict health protocol which included daily covid19's test for each participants and disinfectant spray and cleaning after each training session. We need to make sure, everyone health and safety.

We divided  the participants into 3 age groups, Under 12, 15 and 19.  However due to ongoing pandemic, we could not have them train all together.

We made a total of 5 batches in the span of 9 days. U12 (1), U15 (2) and U19 (2)

Mr.Oegroseno, President of Indonesian Table Tennis Association

"I really appreciate ATTU for helping us with these assistances, we made the best out of it by inviting as many as young athletes to the camp, with this limited time and resources. We definitely would add training camp as a part of our development programs"

Muchlis Marliono, ATTU Education and Training Chairman & Camp Manager

“We have just concluded our first ATTU Aim for The Stars Training Camp.It was a major success, I was personally involved in preparing everything from the beginning, and I could assure you it is what we have been lacking for so long. We managed to get as many as athletes possible with the very limited time and resources. Almost 70 athletes actively participated in the event, I had to add more slots to accommodate the additional athletes. We got all positive feedbacks from Association, Athletes, Parents, and Coaches. They are waiting for our next camp.In fact, we found our soon to be National Junior and Cadet squad from this camp, I could say this is more than a camp, it was a camp, an audition, and a scouting in combined. We thanked Indonesia Table Tennis Association for hosting this “Aim For The Stars” Training Camp. The pandemic made it even harder. We should follow strict health protocol and daily Covid19's test. I consider this time event is a successful one"

Suravinda, 9 years old

"I found out about the training camp from social media, and I asked my dad to take me here. I came with my dad from Magetan City in central java.We are really happy and found this event is very useful and hope there is more such events in the future"

Donny Aji, Coach Sukun Club

"10 of our players were in the camp, and they gained valuable experiences where they could train together with other athletes from different clubs, that was a very rare opportunity. Normally, we could only meet them in the tournament"
