Turkmenistan ATTU “Aim for the Stars” Support

Turkmenistan has chosen to use their ATTU “Aim for the Stars” support as equipment assistance and have now received 35 tables, 64 nets,20 score recorders, 97 surrounds, 12 umpire tables-chairs, 12 towel stands, 250x3 star balls, 2880x1 star balls, and 100 rackets from DHS.


Much of the equipment will be sent to the velayats (province/regions of Turkmenistan) to help develop table tennis in those regions.

In Ashgabat, the capital, the equipment will be used in the Kopetdag and Ashgabat stadiums plus in the School No85.

Agamurat Allanazarov, President of Turkmenistan Table Tennis Federation, said:

“We're ​so excited and so grateful for this support. On behalf of our athletes, coaches and officials I want to thank ATTU for the “Aim for the Stars” Project. We assure you that we will do our best to develop table tennis in our country”.

Batyr Orazov, Secretary-General of Turkmenistan Table Tennis Federation, added:

“I also want to wish you and your colleague’s health, safety and prosperity and from bottom of my heart would appreciate your great contribution to the development and promotion of table tennis in Asian region. Looking forward to further close cooperation.”
